Ljuba Naminova

In 1985 Ljuba Naminova was born in Sibiria, but soon moved to Germany with her family, where she grew up. She studied Linguistics and Literature in Düsseldorf, Rome, Berlin, Moscow and Yekaterinburg. She wrote for the "Moscovskaya nemezkaya gazeta", the local paper "Your Yekaterinburg", the foreign desk of "die tageszeitung (taz)" and chrismon. For her last reports she visited Auschwitz with a former Jewish prisoner, met the last hermits of the Polish Bieszczady Mountains and wrote about the Russian minority in Daugavpils, Latvia. She is a graduate of the "Zeitenspiegel School of Journalists - Günter Dahl" in Reutlingen.
