Kerstin Nickig

After studies of film and slavistic philology in Cologne, Potsdam, Lòdź and Moscow, Kerstin Nickig lives and works in Berlin as a freelance documentary film maker focussing on Eastern European topics as society, culture and history since 2004. She has worked in non-governmental organisations in Germany, Georgia and Russia. 2005: founder member of the media production company „time prints“, together with Michael Truckenbrodt.
Additionally engaged in producing event and education films for non-profit-organisations, media education projects, translater for russian-german and in projects supporting refugees.
