Nils Bröer is Freelancer Reporter and Photographer with a focus on social issues, international politics, crisis, and documentary- and portrait photography based in Berlin, Germany.

He has travelled Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union extensively and and gained comprehensive knowledge about Central Asia during a research residence in Almaty, Kazakhstan from 2012-2013. He reflects on current trends in visual storytelling and visual ethics as a contributing writer of Photonews and has experience as a curator in the corporate publishing field.
He is the father of a beautiful son, has a beautiful girlfriend and this beautiful girlfriend has a beautiful cat. Together those four people live in Berlin.
